I am looking for a camera bracket mount which is the small part at the bottom of the flash unit which

couples on to the flash bracket. It is a small detachable piece with a dovetail fitting for attaching to the

I have the same flash unit, and since it was made by Metz, have you tried calling their parts department? Just a suggestion

Yes, Metz has loads of these thingies.<br>If a new part from Metz is too expensive, get a used Metz 45 series flash. They sometimes go for very little.

I think it is.<br><br>It illustrates what i meant about buying a used flash unit too: i bought one recently (a complete, functioning Metz series 45 flash, including this bit, and the rest) for Eu 8 (= approx. US$ 10). And they regularly go for such low prices.<br>Makes paying nearly US$ 30 for just this part a bit less appealing, doesn't it? ;-)

You're right, Q.G., but the time it takes to hunt down a suitable bargain may or may not be a concern. I have seen these, with and without the band, though, on ebay from time to time.
