Ilfochrome fom digital file?

Recommended Posts

Hi Christopher, I wouldn't have a clue about the resonably priced part, unfortunately. But if you put the words "Ilfochrome paper lab digital" into Mr. Google, out pops: http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=HPIA,HPIA:2006-02,HPIA:en&q=Ilfochrome+paper+lab+digital I just took a quick look and I think the first one, Weldon Labs, uses it, but again, I don't know what they charge nor have ever I tried them. Good luck!

Elevator in Toronto use their Lambda to print Cibachromes; I've seen some of these prints at an exhibition in London and they looked fine to me. Reasonably priced? Well they charge $120 Canadian for a 20" x 16" according to their web-site (www.elevatordigital.ca) which I don't know whether you'd consider reasonable or not.

Owen Boyd, a specialist ciba printer in England, provides this service. The digital files are printed on a Lightjet 430 by a Swiss lab that he has an arrangement with. An ICC profile for ciba is provided for soft proofing.

I use his hand printing and digital services. For digital, I FTP the files to him, and get it in the post about 10 days later. I have been very pleased with the results.
