mark_stein
www.serenaboggs.com/index2.php Then click on artography on the right, then laugh a little, then it's the 4th from the last image of the little girl with yellow wings. There are others like this on her site with the yellowish cross posting colors. I can get close but not quite this look. Anyone have some steps to get this look? I like how some of her images are really dark on the edges. I doubt it's just a curve layer but any ideas? Thanks for your input... Mark
will king
This style and other simular styles are not easy and yes they do involve curves. I've attempted this style and even downloaded actions. It involves high contrast, glaussian blur, diffused glow, and shadow/highlights all done in layers masks.

patricklavoie
Its call cross processing, easy to do with color balance. First set the highlight; add some yellow. Then use the shadow; add some blue and cyan. From now you should be pretty close for the color look. Use a curve to blowout the highlitght and darken the shadow. Add a bit of noise, a bit of hue/saturation and voila! Now get a interesting subject that is good for that treatment. have fun.

mark_stein
Thanks Patrick, I'll try that. I've gotten close doing a cross processing effect using curves but it's still not like hers. Thanks for info. Mark
