Minolta SR-3 stands in...

Recommended Posts

When I went home for Thanksgiving my main gun, the OM-1 was giving me some

advancing issues... hopefully I will be able to fix it! Not to be dissauded, I

grabbed my grandfathers old SR-3 and put on the classic 55mm 1.8 Auto Rokkor and

spent the whole weekend playing with and old fashioned light meter and sunny 16.

Heres some of what transpired... Yes my girl friends camera is HER

grandfathers Nikomat* - Japanese release version of the Nikkormat. Color images

Kodak Gold 200.

The Osage Orange tree at Red Hill is not only some 300 years older than Patrick

Henry, but is over 800 miles from its native habitat in Arkansas.

Not only does the weather vane in the previous photo go through the roof to a

compass display on the ceiling, but the clock on the porch is actually a real

coo-coo clock which goes through the wall and hangs in the main entry hall...

wild stuff!
