desmond_kidman
For a non-photographer interested in snapshots from a film camera which is the best bet, K2 or T2? Both are offered at BH for about the same price. Which is later and which is better (2 different questions sometimes...). I've searched but cannot find a direct thread. andrew duncan
If they are going for the same price, the T2 is the next model up from the K2. Also the T2 is a (slightly) newer camera. I would go with the T2. I have the Ti (replaced by the T2) and it is a nice camera. Andrew
leon_schnell
I've never used a K2, but I've used the T2 for a full year now in my photojournalism course and put it through some heavy work. It's treated me perfectly - the only complaint I had with it was that it uses CR2 batteries, which are quite pricey to replace (here, anyway), and the battery meter doesn't give you nearly enough warning. Apart from that, it's great. And the 28-90 kit lens isn't nearly as bad as some other kit lenses (like the 18-55 bundled with the 300D/400D/30D etc). With the battery grip you can use 4xAA batteries instead of the CR2 battery. Andrew
