jim craig
After creating a new layer in Photoshop CS2 (Ctrl+A, Shift+Cntrl+C, Cntrl V), is there a way to convert to LAB mode on that layer and still keep the adjustment layers underneath intact, without them being autiomatically flattened? jim craig
I should re-word the above question a bit. The adjustment layers underneath are not being flattened, they are being discarded. Is there a way to prevent that. Thanks
rob_miner1
Jim - At the time you want to "flatten" your image. Consider IMAGE>DUPLICATE. You then have the option of saving the origional file with all of the "ADJUSTMENT LAYERS" visible. And continue with the "Dupilcate" to flatten and or continue your work flow. I hope I understood your question correctly.

ian_scholey
You may also want to consider Curvemiester plug in that allows you to do L, a and b adjustments without leaving RGB Ian http://www.colourperfect.co.uk
