RB Lenses - Best Quality?

Hi, I have 4 lenses for my RB ProSD. I get the impression that the Sekor "C" lenses are the best line for

this camera, but I need confirmation of that. I'm posting jpegs of each lens and would appreciate your

comments on the quality of the lenses. <br><br>

(I'm sorry for the slight motion blur on these jpegs. It's night time and I handheld 1/15 on my digi.)

And, I haven't found in the manual what this switch is for. It switches to "X" or "M"<br>

Thanks for your input!<br>

JC, Actually, the K/L lenses are probably the best RB lenses, in terms of optical quality. However, it is my opinion that the C lenses are better built and are more robust. I have had both lines, but have only kept the C lenses. I believe that they are probably the best bang for the buck out there in medium format. Once, I lightly bumped my 180mm K/L lens against some carpeting. It was a very minor impact. But it was enough to knock the end of the lens barrel slightly loose.

The X/M switch is for electronic flash sync or bulb flash. I doubt you'd be using old-style flash bulbs, so you should leave it on X. Enjoy your RB. Cheers, Calvin
