mark_sam
Have any of you experience with Self-Adhesive Foam Boards from the likes of FoamBoardSource.com? Or a similiar brand. I'm only using these within my family. Not a Gallery guy yet. I don't have a dry press and do not want to frame the majority of my prints. Just want a way to temporarily display them etc. Thanks
davidweaverphoto
What happens to this board when you leave it on the dash of your car for 6 months? That's my first question. Next, I would ask myself do I want to do this myself and internalize most of the costs or outsource it to a local frame shop?
dickhilker
I've been using regular foamcore mounting boards and an acid-free spray adhesive by 3M and others. It works well on large (16 X 20 and up) prints, is reasonably inexpensive and holds the prints without rippling. Since I don't usually place my prints on the dashboard, I have no idea how they'd fare there, but they do well in galleries.
William Kahn
I use the same method as Dick, using acid-free foam 3/16-inch foam board. It works really well....
