andrea_robinson
Hi. I was curious as to what everyones business cards look like. Especially those in the wedding industry.
al_kaplan1
I need to get new ones printed. I guess it looks a bit strange to have my cell # hand written above the blacked out printed phone number, and I should get my Email on them too. The logo and design was done by graphic designer Jon Craine in the early 1970's. http://www.impartners.com/aboutUsCraine.html Not that I could afford him, but at the time I was shooting pix for a large electronics firm and Jon was art directing the brochures. I've been using his design ever since.
jeffc1
This is one of mine. Clean & simple. Not cluttered. If they want more info, then they can call the number, visit my website or email me.<div></div>

meldell
This was my first business card ever, and everyone told me to stay away from multiple photos. As usual, I didn't listen!
paul_sokal___dallas__tx
Here's ours (The grey is canvas I added so you can see it and not part of the card)<div></div>
picturesque
Paul--what does lifestyle mean?
ana karina
I too was curious and looked at Paul's website (beautiful, just like his card up there) and Lifestyle is where they come and shoot you & your family or friends for some hours - but there's no wedding going on. Paul will give a better answer though!
iskandar_azaman___kuala_lu
I've been having trouble designing a business card. It's a bit embarrasing when I look at beautiful ones like Paul's. Since i'm still starting out, i printed a small batch of the ones pictured below.<div></div>

agaimages
Ok, one more take on it...<div></div>
paul_sokal___dallas__tx
Lifestyle is our take on the modern version of the family portrait, a photojournalistic family portrait if you will, applying the same skills as PJ wedding coverage to a day in the life. The end result would be a coffee table album. Unfortunately, haven't shot one yet but have seen some posted and it looks like fun. We added it as a option because I think it's something that will be in demand.
paul_sokal___dallas__tx
Ana, Iskandar, thanks. Iskandar, I like the simplicity of your card. I think I'd prefer the smaller text to be in the same font as the larger text. IMO, mixing fonts on something as small as a biz card makes it look too busy-but that's just me
Ian Taylor
A photo rep friend of mine won't let any of her shooters put images on their biz cards. Claims it looks terrible most of the time. I've never seen one that really works. Leave the image for your postcard/mailer. Biz card should be just the facts.
stacy
Mine is really gaudy right now :) Same except the color on the front and back...<div></div>
iskandar_azaman___kuala_lu
Thanks for the tip Paul. Will try that on the next print run. Stacy!!...That is just so retro. Love it. I was trying to look for something cool and simple but ended up with the red, white and black thing. Some people have said that the colour scheme is kinda kinky. I think someone also said it was 'porno'. I also made up t-shirts with the slogan 'I GOT SHOT BY POINT44'. I'll be quite surprised if someone actually wears it in public. :) http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/7566/241/1600/T-Shirt-Design.2.jpg HEY...it's free so they can't complain.
