Editing Game

In past editing game I let you guys play with a jpg. This time I'll

give you RAW and jpg. I have this shot I like but for some reason I'm

drawn to it with a strong color cast. You can download it here:

Great image Rene. I prefer the first one..I really liked where you were going with the toning,

so I went that route. Two versions: the first is very blue. It just worked for me. I liked the

image a bit darker with more focus on the light and shadow. I intentionally blew out the

highlights and blacked out the shadows. The second image is a tritone to get it more towards

a platinum or palladium print. <P><img src="http://www.stuartrichardson.com/rene-

I like the first one best, the second one is just too red, though a sepia version might be nice. It could just be my computer screen, but I'd like to see a little more detail at the top of the building, which is too dark. But without lightening the rest of the picture, in which the lighting semms perfect for the mood.
