I will be visiting for the holidays and want to rent this lens for a day or two... If there are rental places on the north shore that'd be even better (around Ipswich). They rent a wide selection of Canon equipment and are fair on prices... You could also look at EP Levines in Boston, or Hunts in Melrose. It's about a 40 minute drive from Ipswich to Calumet - max. I live on the North Shore (next to Ipswich!) and don't know of anywhere closer that those places for rental equipment - althouh of you find somewhere I'd love to hear about it! I'd forgotten about our colonial past ....sorry heritage. At risk of hijacking the thread I'd request a sticky with hire places submitted for all of us worldwide.
