robert_macdonald2
These are some shots that I took at the Nova Scotia Tory Leadership Race. I covered the event for a class project. Let me know what you think.<div></div>

lee_carruthers
I suggest you might want to slow down the shutter to let some ambient light in. Won't look so "flashy" then, but maybe that's what you wanted. Conservatives tend to be a dull lot anyway, not making for interesting pictures. They're getting to be like rats these days, overrunning our once progressive ship.
robert_macdonald2
Well there wasn't much ambient light to begin with, just what was on the stage. and even that wasn't much to work with. Here's an example.
eliot_rosen1
Conservatives tend to be a dull lot anyway, not making for interesting pictures. They're getting to be like rats these days, overrunning our once progressive ship. Thank God. And how about keeping your political comments out of the forum. I've had to suffer through a gazillion photographs of "progressive" protesters and rabble rousers, so its nice to have a few pictures of the other side. vivek iyer
Eliot, I don't know much about Canadian politics but the conservatives (when they were strong) used to have a party called, "Progressive Conservatives" (many felt it was an oxymoron). jack_lo_..._t_o
I love the first one-the expressione on the two men are priceless. Used to live in the Maritimes (NB); it's comforting to see that people there still don't know how to dress(which makes for better photographs). Like the flash-and-grab style too, by the way. j.martin___
I like the Harper one with the monitors. For Tories at an earlier time:<div></div>
working camera
I'm concerned to learn that they wear cowboy hayets in Nova Scotia. I assumed it was just an Alberta thing. C.
