larrydressler
I shot a roll of Arista.EDU 100 then souped it in diafine rated at 200 I think 250 would be a better choice but 200 worked well. I was real suprised at the results. real smooth and no grain. I used 120 size in my Kiev 6C. the Lens was a MIR-26b 45mm. The eagal head is a crop from a full size scan only min PS processing was used for contrast. the crop picture is from a 800dpi scan on my trusty Epson 3170. http://www.photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=578073 Larry<div></div>
joename
Looks pretty nice - what did you scan with?
larrydressler
I answered that in the opening. It is an epson 3170 at Epson.com you can get one for 60 bucks. Larry<div></div>
rustys pics
Nice work Larry, especially the Purple Heart monument. The Kiev glass is quite good too. Very much under rated in the U.S. I do see the blown out sky in that shot, and perhaps rating the film at ISO 250 would guard against it, but the mid-tones look so good it's a tough call. larrydressler
I had the sun at my back and a mini squall moving in from the front I am tempted to call it 250 also the midtones are beautiful I don't know. also all I can do is play and pray it does not die like other films. at the moment i have a roll of HP4+ in it and I am rating it at 300 we shall see.
