jesse_kramer
I am the proud new owner of a mint 45 degree prism, I cannot get the image to focus sharply in the prism. No problem with focus with the WLF are there correction lenses for the prism ? Maybe one is already in it any thoughts Jesse
rainer_nagel
Jesse, yes that must be f... frustrating. I have the same experience, though. I was told by Rollei Service this would be "normal". which focus screen do you use and is the focus screen mounted the matte side down? WORKAROUND: Brightscreen Accurfocus Magnifier (the Rollei model!! the one for e.g. Mamiya RB67 does not fit!) SOLUTIONS: There exist two Rollei magnifying finders see http://www.sl66.com/slx/index.htm BTW, some 90 degree prism is even worse... last but not least, the default Waist Level Finder is really excellent --rainer

I sent away to have the diopter in.. you should be to unscrew the eyepiece and see. can't remember if marflex or rollei did this for me..my eyes and brain are getting fuzzy. OCULUS New York
Jesse, If there is one in it, its strength is generally marked in white print on the outer rim. I got a +1 in mine when I bought it used, which thankfully, is about what my perscription says for general viewing. They unscrew fairly easily. If you are farsighted (presbyopia, as in middle age (;-), you can beneift from "plus"; near sightedness takes the "minus" versions. Cheers and stop squinting!
