yes that must be f... frustrating. I have the same experience, though.

I was told by Rollei Service this would be "normal".

which focus screen do you use and is the focus screen mounted the matte side down?

 

WORKAROUND:

Brightscreen Accurfocus Magnifier (the Rollei model!! the one for e.g. Mamiya RB67 does not fit!)

 

SOLUTIONS:

BTW, some 90 degree prism is even worse...

last but not least, the default Waist Level Finder is really excellent

Jesse, If there is one in it, its strength is generally marked in white print on the outer rim. I got a +1 in mine when I bought it used, which thankfully, is about what my perscription says for general viewing. They unscrew fairly easily.

 

If you are farsighted (presbyopia, as in middle age (;-), you can beneift from "plus"; near sightedness takes the "minus" versions.
