terry_evans3
Hello,Being new to this subject, I have gotten a lot of good advice to steer me to the right equipment to consider. So far, I am strongly considering the 5D for portraits. When looking at other equipment and reviews, some think the S3 is the best choice for studio and portraits. Many good comments on the color without adjustment. Of course, there is enough price difference to allow for the purchase of a lens or lighting equipment. The speed doesn't matter to me. I am used to manual medium format and am very methodical about each shot. I just want the best portrait results without spending hours working on the images. Again, thanks for you input.Terry
k_michael
I've been using my Fuji S2 for a long time now doing just what you want to do. I would think the S3 is just as if not even better than what I have.
mark pav
The S3 is able to capture an enormous dynamic range compared to any other DSLR, from what I've seen.
._._z
Reviews (with included images) seem to show that the S3 offers around two extra stops of dynamic range. Do a google search and see.
