Further drop in CF card price

I have read a fair amount of complaints about Lexar rebates in photo.net. Personally, I had about 4 or 5 different Lexar rebates in the last two years, and I never had any problems. You simply need to follow the exact instruction to fill out your rebate form. And I got the check within 1 to 2 months.

However, the experience from 2004 was that memory card prices actually took multiple major drops that year. Therefore, I am not sure that prices have stabilized now. Essentially, if you don't have to have more memory immediately, it pays to wait.

Or, if you're willing to take a chance on another brand, how about this?

I'll be buying this just as soon as I need it. It's dropped ~$50 in the last month or so, along with the sandisk drops.
