alexander_nichols
Any Canadians bought stuff (especially from the US) shipped by UPS Expedited? Did they charge you anything (besides GST/PST/HST) upon delivery or pick-up?
Michael R Freeman
UPS Expedited does not charge a "brokerage fee". Only taxes. UPS Standard (Ground) is the equivalent to a dark back alley stick-up!
alan_chan4
Always use UPS Expedited when buying from B&H, only pay GST/PST. UPS/FedEx Ground will charge ridiculous amount of brokerage fee.
danny_wong2
Been there and done that. The extra you pay to expedited end up saving you in Custom brokerage later and the service is faster.
zave_shapiro
You've got the right answers - anything but UPS Ground. Another alternative is ExpressPost - I forget if that's Canada Post's term or the USPS, but an expedited mail shipment is genuinely fast and the PO charges a flat $5 for collecting the GST.
