kathy_mussio
Thanks to those of you will constructive comments to my last post. As requested, I am taking digital photos of the equipment and will provide them to anyone curious or interested. I have the following: -- Leica M3 - #776776 DBP camera body -- Leica Summitar f=5cm 1:2 lens #754908 -- Leather Leica camerca case for same -- Steinheil Munchen Culminar Lens 1:4.5 f=13.5 cm VL Nr. 562920 -- Ernst Leitz Werzlar Elmar lens f=9 cm 1:4 No. 756622 -- Viewfinder (?) E. Leitz Wetzlar N0. 13507 -- Leica IIIc D.R.P. Nr. 595152 -- Larger leather Leica case containing various original lenses, attachments, filters, etc... some of which I am not certain what are used for While the equipment has not been used in a while, it has been stored meticulously. I may be interested in selling if someone is interested as I am not a photographer - and my grandfather left us many nice things, so while this equitment looks extremely interesting, it does not have sentimental value to me (as some have previously suggested.) steve_levine
You might try pricing this stuff out online at various places to get an idea of it's value. This outfit, depending on condition could be worth many thousands, or maybe just one. Like with a used car, "condition" is everything. Be careful you don't get ripped off. nzdavid
There have been lots of questions about value of Leica gear recently. Check out at least three places to give you an idea of value. Check out listings at www.leicashop.at in Vienna, https://secure.ffordes.com/index.htm in Scotland, and perhaps KEH, http:// www.classicconnection.com/ and http://www.kbcamera.com/index.htm and www.photovillage.com
