Orientation needed - this chap's online store has no pictures. Pity.

 

But my question concerns pricing. Some items are 300% over typical

bay site selling prices, but I don't know enough about the

Deardorffs. On target, or similarly overpriced?

If you're looking for Deardorff cameras... why don't you just contact either Jim at MidWest

Photo or Jack Deardorff in Chicago directly for pricing?

 

Jim is always a reliable source and, of course, Jack is manufacturing new Deardorffs.

 

Remember, it's the right of the seller to ask whatever they think the market will bear!

I purchased my first Ebony 4x5--actually my first LF camera--from Bruce before he had gone fully over to eBay and he was extremely helpful both before and after. The price was very competitive too. I haven't looked at all his merchandise, but the items I have looked at are pretty reasonably priced.

Not at all familiar with Deardorff prices.

 

I ended up purchasing an Ebony from Bruce a few months back and he gave me the best price out of (i believe) three US dealers (none here in Canada). Bruce was in communication with me immediately on all enquiries, had the camera in stock and shipped it promptly. Subsequent dealings revealed Bruces Schneider and Rodenstock optic prices to be the same and sometimes better than most competitive US dealers.

 

Very Professional. Highly reccomended.
