tim_bradshaw1
I have a couple of MXs which I dearly love. I've recently noticed that on one of them (and I suspect the other one as well - I haven't opened it yet) the light seal around the back is turning into sticky gunge. Is this something I can fix? - can you get new sealing stuff, & how do you get the old and now-gungy stuff out? Or would I be better taking it (them) to my local, & very good, repair shop? Normally I'd do the latter without thinking, but I've just had some other repairs done so I'm a bit short of cash just now! Thanks
c_christofi
Try the ebay seller interslice - excellent product which will cover 5 or more cameras.

donnie_strickland
Interslice (aka Jon Goodman). You can get a great kit and even greater instructions, and he'll email you if you need help.
titrisol
Another vote for jon's product. It is great and one of the "deluxe" $10 kits services many cameras. Ask him directly in ePay, he has detailed instructions for most cameras and the Pentax MX maybe one of them.
