Advice please: Pouch for Voigtlander 15mm + finder

Hi everyone,

I wonder if users of Voigtlander 15mm have found and used any good pouches for the lens and the finder. I am mostly concerned about protecting the finder because it has so much glass on the front. You advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Igor

Voigtlander sells a great lens case that holds either the 25 or the

15 mm lens and a viewer all in one cylindrical unit. Assuming that

the other one is on the camera the OE voigtlander eveready case holds

the camera and the other lens, at least for the Bessa L which I have.

Not #Echte Leder# but good vinyl and total is well under 100 bucks.

And it does have the Voigtlander stylized V embossed on the nose.

the perfect pouch is the original voigtländer one and it is really

cheap too. it also sports the really cool voigtländer V on top of it.

as good as it gets!

I use an ancient sock top, cut off and stitched closed at the cut

end. It's got to be old and well-washed, to avoid lint. Then, someone

on one board or another suggested putting a strip of velcro on top of

the finder and on the bottom of the lens cap--a great idea! Stick the

finder to the bottom of the lens, and shove it in the sock. I have a

sock for each lens, and identifying them by touch is no problem.

i think i saw a neat clip on front filter for the 15mm at

www.cameraquest.com -- although vignetting seems inevitable (but

maybe not). this would protect the front element.

I had the same problem too, and you can try my solution :

There are baby gloves in most department stores, or you can find them

in any home with babies ( better if they have grown up ). Baby gloves

usually use good quality fabrics to make, try them.
