What's the difference between Mamiya Press & Polaroid 600se Lenses?

Here's what I know so far:

1) The mounts are NOT compatible without modification.

2) Mamiya Press lenses are older and the design was modified for

polaroid in the 600SE

3) The 75mm and 127mm 600se lenses cover the 6x12 (and 4x5 format)

open wide at infinity focus.

 

What I'd like to know:

1) Do I need to modify the mount or the lens, to fit the 600se lenses

on the press mount (or visa versa)?

2) Do the mamiya press versions of these lenses cover the 6x12 format?

3) Which are the better quality lenses? The polaroid one is cheaper,

did it cut corners?

4) There are black press lenses, chrome press lenses and P press

lenses - what is each one?

 

As you have probably guessed I'm looking to use these lenses on a 6x12

body. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.
