jcgoodman
Does anyone else still retain their very first Leica exposure, especially if taken quite a few years ago? Here is mine. I was sitting at a sidewalk cafe with a friend in Collins Street, Melbourne, Australia, in 1974. He had an old camera which he showed me, allowing me to take an exposure. Ektachrome 125. I later learned that the camera was an early Leica II with a chrome, non-coated Summar lens, used without hood. I was impressed with the absence of plastic, and the camera's quiet, solid feel.<div></div>

canfred
Hi John ,the top end of Collins Street , there used to be a little coffee lounge in that very same building I think. " The Outpost Inn " Margret Roadnight would perform free, great vocalist she was. The building is gone now and we moved on. This is a great photo and kept so well too.
