wp_cheng
My M5 shows the correct framelines. However the frameline selecter does not have the spring tension as it should be. Does anybody konw how to do a DIY fix?
working camera
Gday WP Is the M5 a new camera to you? If so, the frame selector for the M5, also used for the battery test function, ordinarily feels somewhat sloppy in action compared to the other Ms. If you are a dedicated M5 user from way back you know to ignore the above. If there is a problem I would not work on an M5 myself but send it off to dedicated M5 repair person such as Sherry K. C.
paul_neuthaler
Craig is right-on. Had the same issue with my M5 -- I learned to ignore it.
wp_cheng
Thanks Craig & Paul I bought it second hand and used it for quite a while. Silly me, I just discovered the "problem" yesterday. With your experience, I feel very comfortable. Thanks a lot.
jay bee
Pretty funny, I've had my M5 for two years now and allways just assumed that the frameline lever was busted too. I've been needing a CLA but haven't gotten around to sending it to Sherry yet.
