mille_bornes
I Lifted & Stamped some exposure etc. corrections to a dozen images. Then I did a number of other things making a simple Undo impossible. How do I go to each image and remove the Stamp?
Ed_Ingold
What software? What type of file? At first glance, this sounds like an operation on RAW files. If so, the file itself is not changed, only tags used when converting the file to another format. With Adobe Camera Raw, you can easily return to the "as taken" state. I'm not sure if Capture is so forgiving. In any case, you will lose any subsequent edits.
Ed_Ingold
APERTURE! Sorry, I missed that. My sympathies.
ray
Have you tried doing command-delete (File -> Delete Version) ? This will remove all the edits and restore you to the original Raw file.
mille_bornes
Thanks, Shourya, but that removes/deletes the image altogether. I suppose then I could re- import. It's especially vexing because each of the Lifted & Stamped images has a small icon in the lower right indicating such. Alas, the icon is not clickable. ray
I suppose another option would be to turn on the preference option to make all edits on Versions. That means that you Master image is left as is and all edits occur on a newly created version. This doesn't take up any significant space since the version is only a set of change instructions. On the plus side, you can always delete the version and back up to the Master.
