michael s.
Charlie and Eric -- I like 'em.
(Eric -- same lady as appears in one of your street photos, no?)

michael s.
Vivek -- Nope, guess again :-) (Was very dark shot to begin with, then I fiddled just a bit -- maybe a bit too much ? -- and decided to leave in the upside down box of 400 film visible at left. It's a photography forum, after all. In any case the photo on my hard drive is a little smoother than what appears above.)
vivek iyer
If it is a lady, she ought to be a very sensuous one- going by the long fingers! Nicely done, Michael.
michael s.
Vivek - This is funny. Now I realize (I think) that we were, at different times, talking about 2 different photos. I was asking Eric whether the hand on his opening shot belongs to an older lady, a lady whose face I've seen in one of Eric's very strong street portraits. And when I told you to "guess again" I thought you were referring to my photo, but it now occurs to me that you were commenting on my question regarding Eric's shot, correct ? vivek iyer
No problems, Michael. You were right on Eric's shot (both fabulous captures!) Yours (I meant it as well), shows some influence from one of my favorites who isn't allowed here any longer.
michael s.
<< ... Yours (I meant it as well), shows some influence from one of my favorites ... >> I know who you mean. Very likely true, though I wasn't aware of it at the moment of taking the photo. (And I take it as a compliment. Thanks.) A number of the pics above remind me how expressive the hands can be.
