rjclarke
Hi- I recently aquired a Konica C35 with a underwater housing, and flash for underwater use. Any idea where I might find information on the housing? The flash unit uses bulbs, the purchase included about 100 bulbs. I am wondering if these can be safely loaded into the flash unit underwater thanks in advance for your assistance
miztli
I have a camera like yours and I like it, its small and easy to carry and use. I didnt know it had a underwater housing, I believe a great finding. My suggestions is first to test both housings (camera and flash) empty to make sure water does not leaks inside. Good Luck! david_m
Try the internet search engines for information. Or, maybe even Konica.
winfried_buechsenschuetz1
I found the underwater housing mentioned in the C35 instructions. The flash uses two PX825 cells which are no longer available (even in Europe, the only packed 825 cell I have ever seen was ten years old). I think a lithium cell will fit into the compartment, together with some coins. Make sure the seals are tight (they are probably hardened) before using it under water. I found my underwater housing in a shop in Paris years ago, mine is missing the flashgun.
rjclarke
Thanks for the answers. I did not think it needed batteries. I have included a picture of the flash unit. It takes AG-1b bulbs<div></div>
