jo7hs2
Anybody know of a reliable place to see alligators in south Alabama or the Florida panhandle? I think it is a tad chilly right now, but I figure I'll ask while it is on my mind.
gpdno
Okefenokee swamp in the Southeastern part is full of alligators. Also, south of Tallahassee by St. Marks has a bunch.

markplawchan
Most of the water hzards at local golf courses can provide a 'gator or two..now if they're so damned common--why are alligator boots so expensive?
alex_lofquist
Who would want to steal the boots off of an alligator?
ben neptun
The most reliable place I can think of in the Florida panhandle is St. Marks Nat'l Wildlife Refuge (south of Tallahassee). In southern Alabama, the Mobile-Tenesaw River delta is full of them, though you usually have to seek them out. If you're bound to land, then try the causeway near Meaher State Park. You can also try Weeks Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve.
