Where in the World are the GREAT labs?

Recommended Posts

Can anyone recommend a lab that can do the following:

(1) can do large prints with no bents in them (I get prints back from my lab with bents)

(2) can process flush mount albums with no crinkles in the pages

(3) can correctly size canvas boards so the print is the same size of the canvas

(4) doesn't mail photos where the skin tones are off

(5) has a great variety of flush mount templates

(6) processes everything on line (ROES program or the like)

Thank you all,

I use Deltaquest Imaging out of Chicago. They have done super work for me and they are

very helpful. Web address: www.deltaquest.net

They don't do albums but I went to a seminar they put on last Feb. and met one of their

clients who uses Zookbinders for their wedding albums. Deltaquest provides the photos that

the photographers then send to Zookbinders for production into albums. The photographers

I met were Rick and Heather KingenSmith. You could contact them to get better information.

Two that I use:

Natural Color Lab

378 Page Street, #8

Stoughton, MA 02072

Phone: 781-341-3200

PC Colour Lab

749 East Temple Street

Los Angeles, CA 90012

Phone: 213-680-7796

Both accept orders online, have a massive selection of templates and can process orders from applications like ROES or Studiomaster PRO. Check out their web sites or give them a call. Quality, turnaround and pricing are great too!

We print up to 20x30, and would never ship a print with bent corners! =)

(2) can process flush mount albums with no crinkles in the pages

We print and send directly to binding companies and have had awesome results.

(3) can correctly size canvas boards so the print is the same size of the canvas

Canvas prints are done directly on canvas material, than stretched on to frames, rahter than printing and mounting or texturing. The nice thing is that your image is wrapped around and stapled on the back, a reall ynice presentation.

(4) doesn't mail photos where the skin tones are off

Pro labs shoujld always be dialed in for skin tones!

(5) has a great variety of flush mount templates

(6) processes everything on line (ROES program or the like) We use Labprints and FTP server access for online orders.

Check out the site and let me know if you have any questions!
