larry_menzin
I bought 3 used Tiffen 4"x5.65" glass grads for landscape photography. I thought I'd try glass grads vs Lee resin grads. It turns out that while Lee resin grads fit my holder (Heliopan), the Tiffen glass grads are about 1mm too wide. Is there someone like a glassmaker who could shave 0.5mm from each side of the filter, or should I put these grads on the big auction site? eric friedemann
Since its only 1mm, perhaps you could buy a carbide sandpaper and sand the edges yourself.
q.g._de_bakker
If you think that making it 1 mm less wide requires taking 0.5 mm off from each side, perhaps you'd better sell it on... ;-)

q.g._de_bakker
Sam,

If your What? is in reply to what i wrote, i'll explain:
You do not mess with two sides of the thing if doing it once, to one side, just a little bit more, already does the trick. Each extra side you tackle is an extra opportunity for doing damage.
Obvious really, isn't it? ;-)
sam_crater
Ahh! I was thinking about the math, not the engineering.
