timarmes
Not yet. I've just ordered what I think is a Minimagick from ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Brand-New-Radio-Wireless-Trigger-for-Studio-Flash-Unit_W0QQitemZ7567606814QQcategoryZ3860QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
It certainly looks identical, although the actual make isn't mentioned. For 20UKP including delivery, I figurered that I couldn't go too far wrong.
Tim
jmf
These are the single channel YinYan units that have a fairly poor rep. The 4 channel units are better, but still have minimum distance issues (about 5 ft).
jmf
should of been specific. the ebay listing looks like like the YinYan units. The txrx02 receiver looks suspiciously like my YinYan 4 chan unit.
bbc
I was just going to ask if anyone had used them. I want to buy the proper versions, that can be found here http://www.studioflash.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=TXRX02 They have two channels and the distance is up to ten metres (although I'd expect that to be somewhat reduced outdoors where there are no walls for the signal to bounce off) I remember thinking about buying the Bowens Pulsar slave triggers, but reading lots of bad comments about them - apparently they don't fire every time. I wonder if people have had the same problems with these?
