mark_erickson
Gene M's and Roger P's recent thread about the Butcher Watch Pocket Carbine reminded me about an artifact that I recently inherited--my grandmother's old Kodak Vest Pocket Model B folding camera. It's in wonderful condition with the exception of the bellows, which is completely shot. Can anyone point me to a source for replacement bellows for this camera? Thanks. ted_chambers
I sent my Voigtlander Bessa to Jurgen Kreckel for new bellows. He did a very nice job. He's in Pennsylvania. His web site is www.certo6.com.
john_shriver
If you want to try a do-it-yourself, check with eBay seller frendakfurnari, he has a reasonable supply of new-old-stock Kodak bellows. Maybe one is the right size, although you may have to swap out the front plate. Also John Craig (http://www.craigcamera.com) has a modest supply of new-old-stock Kodak bellows, identified by camera model. You will presumably have to drill out rivets at the front plate, and replace them with small bolts. The rear is held on by bent-over tabs. While I understand the emotional value, realize that these cameras were mass produced, and you can probably find an identical one on eBay with good bellows. I suppose you could also got that route and canniballize the bellows from one, although they are hard to remove without damaging them.
