james_johnston1
I am wondering if anyone could recommend a place to have a Mamiya 7 and lens repaired in the Seattle area. I am having some problems with the focus (un-sharp negatives) and I suspect that I need some re-calibration.. Thanks
scottm
Try: Meiers phototechnical repair at 11752 15th Ave NE. Used them for repairing a Nikon SLR a few years back, but I think they work on most brands/formats.
neal_thatcher
I used to be in charge of repairs at a camera store in Seattle and we sent out to Photo-tronics or Meiers. Meiers usually came back less expensive but both do a good job.
stp
Another vote for Meiers. They provided great service on my Pentax 67 and 645, much more so than Phototronics.
daniel_gregory
I dropped my RZ67 on a trip and took it to CameraTechs in Ballard on Market, next to the movie theater. They will do a free estimate and test on the system. They had to repair the lens camera release connection. The work was done fast and top quality work. akajohndoe
I've used Phototronics several times and have been pleased. It is good to hear there is another, too. Thanks!
karl_price
I second the nomination for Camera Techs in Ballard. I just had my S2 shutter retimed by them and the work was done right and in a reasonable time.
