william_bean
I'm heading to Arizona March 22 to catch a few Spring Training games. I'll have a day or two in the Tucson area and would love for someone to clue me in on photo opps in that area, specifically Saguaro National Monument and other opps between Tucson and Phoenix. I'll be available to shoot the standard early morning and late afternoon-sunset. Help!!!

icephoto
Will also echo the thumbs up on Sabino Canyon in Tucson. Spent some time there in May a couple of years ago and it was a worthwhile visit.
ben neptun
If you like aviation, do not miss the PIMA Air & Space Museum... and be sure to take the bus tour of AMARC on Davis-Monthan AFB. Regarding Saguaro Nat'l Park... the West unit is much more scenic and offers more hiking. It's also easier to get to than the East unit. Don't miss the petroglyphs on Signal Hill on the West unit. Also, the saguaro cacti offer lend themselves wonderfully to night-time photos of star trails. There are several old Catholic missions south of town as well. If you've got more time to get out of the city and go East, then Kartchner Caverns and Tombstone are kinda' fun too.
J.W. Wall
Also - Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge, west of Nogales, past the town of Arivaca. On the west of the Refuge, you will see Baboquivari Peak.
