NW/W: Intense Portraits

Steve H - Two ways to get your photo to appear on the thread (vs. as an attachment):

 

1. As noted above, a photo from your hard drive must be no more than 511 wide (can be longer) and must have something -- anything -- in the caption blank.

 

- OR -

 

2. You may bypass the 511 width rqmt, as many do, by linking photos from your pnet gallery or another site, by typing the following:

 

<center><img src="exact url of your photo here"></center>

 

Then you select "HTML" from the drop-down menu before hitting the "Submit" button. That takes you to a preview of your photo as it will appear. If at that point you can't see it, then we won't see it either. If you can see it, and it's what you want to appear, you "Confirm."

 

Even though linked photos may exceed the 511 max width, dimensions should still be kept at reasonable levels to avoid causing viewers to scroll, and overall file size is supposed to be no more than 100k.

 

We've all struggled with this at some point. Keep posting 'em. :)
