Epson 7800 Printer profile for ilford smooth canvas

Hi all,

 

i recently bought a roll of ilford smooth canvas 24" roll for my Epson 7800 printer,but i

realised they do not have the printing profile for my 7800 !

 

Anyone tried to request a profile from ilford website? i tried,but there is no reply for

2wks..

 

Any other source to get a profile for my printer?

 

i'm from singapore if that helps.

 

Appreciate any advice.

you should try the closest profile that look like your paper. Exemple; if it look like a Epson

cnavas paper try this profile, maybe it will work, many other ilford paper when you buy them

have a sheet in the package that tell you to use a Epson profile instead...check carrefully.

Hi Boonwei, You might try: http://www.cathysprofiles.com/ I haven't checked her prices lately but they were $40 USD per paper profile which isn't bad considering the equipment she uses. Cathy comes highly recommended by many pros. Good luck!

i read about cathys wonderful profiling service,but i'm living in singapore,quite an hassle to mail the test print to her.

 

i will e-mail her regarding it though,thanks.

For third party canvas I would recommend water-color radiant white. I have always found it

superior to the epson canvas print driver settings. Dowload the printer evaluation target

from DryCreek Photo and test it yourself.
