jerry_lehrer
Leslie--- Other than the 39mm and 43mm, what sizes and colors do you want? Jerry
Rob F.
KEH.com has a used filter section. And if you shop for a filter with B&H, the web page will advise you if the particular filter is available used. I just bought one from B&H 10 minutes ago! harvey_trautenberg1
I am looking for a B&W 39E UV 010 filter. I destroyed mine but it saved the lens.
leslie_p.
I'm looking for a 43mm UV filter. Apparently the lens I'm working with only takes a 0.50 pitch thread and I read that those filters are now discontinued. I was told that B+W E43 or a 43E Leica are the only ones that would work. =(

rjm photo
Leslie The E43 filters will not work on .50 pitch IMO. I bought such a filter to use on my rangefinder Nikkor lens (which I believe is .50 pitch) and the E43 was too course a thread..just like the 43mm B+W filters commonplace today. What you probably need is an ancient Nikon 43mm filter from the 50s, 60's. Try filterfind dot net. I have bought some used forty year old filters from them and I have been quite pleased with the condition, price and service. They have had old Leitz, Canon, Walz and Nikon filters.
