robert kosara
I recently ordered a Canon PowerShot S80 online, and received it a few days ago. It works fine, but it has two hot pixels: one is blue, and the other red. Is that something that you're supposed to live with (like dead pixels on LCDs), or can I expect to get it replaced? robert kosara
I realize that my description is not very clear: I'm talking about pixels on the chip and in the pictures, not the display. So these show up in the pictures I take.
yongbo
It's normal. I have a lot on my Digital Rebel. Photoshop removed it for me during the RAW format conversion.
mr._smith
Film scanners should be so lucky, having only too small pixels to remove instead of a zillion dust spots. Since the S80 doesn't have RAW, you'll have to removed them yourself with your graphics software.
