domenicopescosolido
Hi,

I read that the Bronica SQ-A doesn't have the bulb exposure (B) that the Ai has. I would know if there is any working around to use that camera with exposure time longer than 8 sec.

Thanks
soeren_michael_nielsen
You should have the T-setting on the lenses which is better than bulp since it doesn't drain batteries. Søren
domenicopescosolido
Hi, ...I think that the T setting is not present on the SQ-A model. :(
paedric
it has nothing to do with the SQ-A or Ai bodies. The T setting is on the lenses - there's a little switch with a thumb screw on the bottom of the lens barrel that allows you to put the lens in T mode. As noted above, this avoids draining the batteries. the screw prevents accidental T mode operation - you have to very deliberately select or un-select. mauriziospadaccino
talking about the T mode, I was wondering if there's any safe way to activate the T selector on the lens (in order to shut down the shutter) without shaking the camera body, since it seems like inevitable while operating it under the lens. soeren_michael_nielsen
When using long exposures I use the lenscap as "shutter" by putting it on the lens before closing the T setting.Sren
analog steve
The "T" setting on the lens is not better than bulb in my opinion. It is a very small screw and not easy to manipulate in the dark. I am thinking about the SQ-Ai for this very reason. Steve S
soeren_michael_nielsen
The difference is as said in the lenses. The P-lenses has a small screw whereas the PS-lenses has a pin you pull out a bit to let you engage the T-setting. Whether the PS-lenses can be used on SQ-A I don't know but the P-lenses work on the SQ-Ai. Regards Søren
