steve_barrett
Is the Acute Matte D screen a major improvement compared to the 'regular' Acute Matte screen? What are the differences?
enw
Max, I believe the Acute-Matte screen was introduced by Hasselblad in 1989, therefore all of the 501CM's would have the Acute-Matte screen. The "D" version of the Acute-Matte was not a major change, only evolutionary. The "D" version was introduced in 1996 with additional variations in 1997. It would be likely that all 501CM's, therefore, left the factory with the "D" variant, but it's certainly possible that a few early 501CM's had only the original Acute-Matte. In any event, the "D" improvements were small and hard to notice.
