pjmeade
Hello all, I'm thinking of buying the EF 24-105/f4, but supplies seem to have dried up. The people at Digital First in High Wycombe tell me they have no idea when they will see stock and don't know of anyone else who has the lens. Is there any reason it's so hard to come by? Cheers. james_symington1
Not as far as I know. Have you tried Warehouse Express? Their website doesn't list them as being out of stock. They also have a great price of ᆪ681 which is almost ᆪ200 less than those rip-off merchants Jessops. Try them if you haven't already.
pjmeade
Hello James, I've just phoned them. They don't have the 24-105 or the 17-40 in stock. Both of those were toys on my wish-list.

mark u
I think a lot of them were bundled in 5D kits.

jpfy32
park cameras www.parkcamera.com are advertising the 24-105 as in stock. I use them regularly and happy with their service. It might be worth calling them.
pjmeade
John, that was parkcameras.co.uk, but they did have it on stock. They say they have lots. I'll have paid 19GBP more than Warehouse Express ask, but they don't have it. Thanks to everyone for your contributions. Pete
paul hart
My local dealer (Wilkinsons of Preston etc) certainly had problems across the board with Canon lenses recently. I wanted a 24-105 and had to wait about 4 weeks. I now have one. They are worth the wait.
HarryBaker
Hi. I got mine from Cameraking as soon as the non-flare versions became available. Ordered on Christmas Eve and delivered 2 days after Boxing day. Perfect service and great lens. I paid 694GBP. This was when no-one else seemed to have them except Jessops who offered me one for 800! Try their website and phone.
