brian_faini
Anyone heard of a 300d buffer upgrade like the fuji s2 had. I amstruggleing with the buffer now more than I ever used to for somereason. I am strapped for funds at the moment so this would be a greatthing if it is possible. I like my 300d just not the buffer, I wouldreally like a mark 2N but that isnt going to happen anytime soon. wellnow I am rambling. Thanks for any input. james_chen6
The buffer chip of 300D is soldered onto the circuit board...
luis alvarez torres
Perhaps a faster mem card will help some.
mormegil
Faster mem card won't help, since the 300D doesn't support write acceleration. Sorry, doesn't look good.
luis alvarez torres
Non of the canon models support Write Aceleration, Its only a case of some faster writing cameras than others, I own a 300D and a 20D and of course that I'm aware that a 40X card is more than sufficient for a 300d, but we don't know what type of card brian is using. If the case is that he is using a 1X card, he "needs" a faster card.
