ron_black2
Can anyone help ? I am having trouble with the Etrsi polariod back I, I seem to have a problem with the paper tabs , the first three shots were fine, after that the paper tabs did not come through when the film was pulled slowly out. I am not sure if I am placing the tabs in the back correctly when loading . On the 5th I managed to grab the tab using a small pair of tweezers ,on removing this film another 3 films followed all at once. I am using polariod 664 b/w 100 iso . camera_conjurer
Remove the roller assembly from the back door of the holder.
It should look clean, with no broken parts.
If the rollers have dried on brown developer on the ends, rinse them off in warm water. camera_conjurer
I'm sorry, I was going to post a picture, but was unable to.
With the rollers removed from the back, clean off any dried on developer on the spring loaded door, ( the little door that you pull the film through,) with warm water.
Check for any broken parts or springs on that door flap and the roller assembly.
Make sure the roller assembly is seated properly in the back door. camera_conjurer
With the problem that you've described, usually the pack film itself proves to be defective.
Try a new pack of film from a different lot. If that works, if the tabs pull normally on a different pack of film, return the defective film.
stephen_allan
I have had problems like this with part used film packs that have then been sitting around for some time. If I use a film pack in a week or two it works fine all the way through. So check the state of the rollers, and if they look OK, I think it is a problem with the film pack itself.
