I suppose becasue there are lots of rich people there, they don't lower the prices. It is a "status" market, like showing the latest and greatest mobile phone to friends. I am a Nikon F100,FA and prime lens user eventhough I am satisfied with the results, just for old times sake I am trying to experince the simplification of quality instrument which gave great support to Capa's H.C.Bresson's magical hands.
