Camera bag for Eos-3 and 70-200 f/2.8 canon lens

Hi all,

 

I just purchased the Canon 70-200 f/2.8L lens and would appreciate

some suggestions for a camera bag that will hold it and an Eos-3

body. I have a nice bag that will hold them, separately, and one

other lens but am looking for something I can use to just haul those

two, assembled, around.

Lowe Pro Top Loader 75 AW is perfect if you have a grip/booster on the camera. If no booster, then you can get by with a TopLoader style that is not as "thick".

I also looked at the LowePro Toploader 70 AW for my EOS 3 but decided on the <a href="http://www.lowepro.com/Products/Beltpacks/allWeather/Specialist_85_AW.aspx">Specialist 85</a> since I could throw in a few more lenses with the telephoto still attached.

I can think of several but I will not state names. To me, bags and tripods belong to a category of their own in a sense that they require very personal fitting and what's good for me may well not be good for you, even if we have the same equipment. Thus I will - personally - never recommend a specific model. For example, I once saw on the web a bag that I really liked. However, when I got to the store and tried it out I found that it wasn't very comfortable. I tried another and - surprise - it was excellent. Thus I suggest you do the same. Go to the store and try them out yourself.

 

Suggesting a brand is a different thing and I (like many) find Lowepro bags to be excellent. HTH.
