brownphotographic
I'm so confused. I've recently been able to secure most of a Hasseykit for relatively cheap, and have several lenses that need filtersand I want filters for them for B&W as well as color correcting inavailable light inside no-flash locations. I'm spinning trying tofigure out which filter to use for my 80mm, silver compur, Sonnar 150mm F lenses. I can't find a good source for guides to filters forhasselblad lenses in Google searches (very possibly I'm using thewrong word combo). Ladies and Gents, please find it within you to lenda neophyte Hassey adopter a hand!?Chris, Wichita, KS
q.g._de_bakker
Chris,

Your 80 mm C lens takes "bayonet 50" filters.
The (shutterless, f/2.8) F version of the 150 mm lens takes "bayonet 70" filters. But i think your 150 mm Sonnar is a C lens too (Synchro Compur?), and if so, it takes the same "bayonet 50" filters.
However, if it is a CF or CFE/CFi version (no mention of "Synchro Compur" anywhere on lens), it will take "bayonet 60" filters. brownphotographic
Yes, thank you Q.E. One of my 150 is a C compur, the other is an F. I appreciate the response. Chris

tarashnat
Chris, You didn't mention which body you acquired for your kit. Now, to use the F lens, you would need one of the focal plane bodies (200x/20x series) as it doesn't have a lens shutter as QG noted. brownphotographic
My mistake, it IS a Synchro Compur, just got it on Ebay and had to go back to auction, I haven't gotten it in the mail yet. So I have to assume it's a C, as it doesn't look like the CF lenses I've seen. Chris
jeffdyck
Something else to keep in mind if you don't want to invest a mint in bayonet filters in several sizes --> You can use gel filters with many of the lens hood / shade systems available and they do make adapters to go from Bayonet filter mounts to the Cokin system (which will also allow you to use square filters from Singh-Ray, Tiffen, Hi-Tech and others).
