seb v.
Thought I would give a heads up. The BBC News website is running quite a cute photography exhibition. They give you a theme, the current one is "Work" and you can email them up to six pics on that theme and they vote for the best and put them up on the BBC site. It sounds like a fun way to force myself to go out and take pics, and I know many of us here can scan negs so have a go!Here is the site address, sorry cant do links.Seb.http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4652389.stm

ivanskavinsky
Just so long as you don't mind giving the beeb an unlimited license to reproduce and profit off your pics. Oh yeah, and you have to indemnify them against any legal proceedings through their use/misuse of YOUR pics. Good deal...

andrew robertson
Actually, the Beeb says that they won't use the pictures in a commercial fashion, and the copyright stays with the photographer.
ivanskavinsky
Oooops! Sorry Andrew, mia culpa, I was looking at the contract they sent me to sign (I didn't). The rules look laudable, I'd encourage everyone to have a go. If only their relationship with freelance PJs was as understanding...
