conraderb
Scott - probably better to email you via the forum, since that will help to disseminate the knowledge. I use two Quantum radio 4 senders and receivers. they aren't cheap - around $300 for a set, but they will help you take your studio/location photography to a whole new level by getting rid of wires and letting you be much more creative. my quantums tend to be reliable. I once was in a reception hall near the kitchen when one of hte receivers started to get some interference and act like a strobe - popopopopopopoppopopo! I moved it and afterward it was fine. Overall, very reliable units that work from at least 200 feet away (in my experience. my only recommendation is to consider getting the sender unit that will attach to the camera via the hot shoe instead of the pc sync cord. I often have my pc cords fall out at bad times, and the connection via the cord isn't quite as reliable as via the hot shoe. hope that helps. twmeyer
I just changed from Quantum 4i to Pocket Wizard Plus. Much better, no wierd interferance like I used to get from the 4i (aptly described by Conrad). <p>Pocket Wizard Plus: $320.00 from keh.com... t
