ben_huff1 Posted September 10, 2005 Share Posted September 10, 2005 hey gang. i just recovered some files that were deleted from my hard drive not long ago. i used a data recovery program that found the files- they look to be intact (according to the properties)- 'excelent condition' the right size, etc. however when i try to view them in the Canon Raw Viewer (they were shot with a 20d) they all come up as question marks (?). it says "this image format is not supported". so, i've finally found the deleted images, but i can't view/access them. any ideas? i feel like i'm one step closer, but can't get through this last issue. is there an issue with them being a CR2 file, and if so- how do i fix it? peter_daalder Posted September 10, 2005 Share Posted September 10, 2005 Ben, the software that comes bundled with the Canon DSLRs leaves a lot to be desired... <br> Download a copy of <a href="http://www.pixmantec.com/index2.html"> RawShooter </a> and see if it will help you out.
