black and White with D70s

I just bought a D70s and I was wondering if I can do black and white

in the camera or at least on the LCD just so check it. I heard there

is a monochromatic mode or somthing but

I have found nothing in the menu. SO if any can help me or maybe Im

looking forsomthing that isn?t even there.

As far as I know, there is none. You need to do your BW in PS. If you are used to shooting BW film, you should be able to visualize the results.

As previously mentioned there is no in camera solution. To help visualize in B&W you could try using a Tiffen contrast viewer like this http://tinyurl.com/cbkwy

No, the D70s doesn't have a monochrome mode. You're thinking of the Canon Rebel XT and Canon 20D, which do have monochrome modes.

I use Photoshop 7 to get the black and white results from my D70. I use the Channel Mixer setting to emulate B&W, my favorite setting is comparable to Agfa 200X. The setting for that is 18,41,41 make sure monochrome is clicked. If you have a preferred black and white film email me and I and I can tell you the setting if I have it or you can do a google search.
