efitzs Posted July 10, 2005 Share Posted July 10, 2005 I just bought a D70s and I was wondering if I can do black and white in the camera or at least on the LCD just so check it. I heard there is a monochromatic mode or somthing but I have found nothing in the menu. You're thinking of the Canon Rebel XT and Canon 20D, which do have monochrome modes. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
wdoughty Posted July 12, 2005 Share Posted July 12, 2005 I use Photoshop 7 to get the black and white results from my D70. I use the Channel Mixer setting to emulate B&W, my favorite setting is comparable to Agfa 200X. The setting for that is 18,41,41 make sure monochrome is clicked. If you have a preferred black and white film email me and I and I can tell you the setting if I have it or you can do a google search.
